Intra Company Transfer Start Up Or Transferee (ICT)

The Intra-Company Transfer (ICT) Program allows international companies to temporarily transfer qualified employees to Canada to improve management efficiency, expand operations, and enhance competitiveness. If your company plans to open a parent company, branch, subsidiary, or affiliate in Canada, you may qualify for a Canadian work permit under the ICT Start-Up Visa stream. Likewise, employees with specialized knowledge may transfer to a Canadian branch or affiliate without a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA).
